Regional Sales Manager, Lucid for Education (K12) - California

Location: California

Lucid for Education is looking for a California based Regional Sales Manager focused on the K12 space. Lucid for Education is the new way of learning, combining Lucidchart and Lucidpress to facilitate collaboration, critical thinking and creativity in the classroom.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the K12 Education industry
  • Own a territory and build pipeline and personal relationships with prospects and clients
  • Create reliable forecasts and transparency with management on your pipeline status
  • Consistently close deals to hit monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
  • Invest in colleagues and coach when you see an opportunity for improvement
  • Listen to the needs of the market and share insights with product and marketing teams
  • Be proactive about solving problems even if it’s outside of your area
  • Be ready to take on additional initiatives and responsibilities as they emerge

Requirements

  • Passion for improving education
  • 3-5+ years of professional sales experience
  • Ability to project manage complex sales cycles with internal stakeholders (Learning Solutions, Marketing, Operations)
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Skilled in prospecting, territory planning, and team-selling
  • Ability to travel at least 25% of the time
  • BA/BS degree
  • Must be living in California territory

Preferred Qualifications

  • K12 Educational Sales Experience
  • Strong negotiation and accurate forecasting skills
  • Demonstrated ability to find, manage and close high-level business in an evangelist sales environment
  • Ability to assess business opportunities and use data to inform decision making
  • Ability to manage a large number of prospects and opportunities simultaneously
  • Skill in selling a product against direct and indirect competitors
