APAC - Account Executive, SMB - Lucidchart

Location: Melbourne

At Lucid, we are creating the essential visual productivity platform that helps anyone understand and share ideas, information, and processes with clarity. As we expand our international presence with a local office in Melbourne, Australia, we are looking for the best candidates with a growth mindset. 
Account executives in the SMB segment will work closely with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) and other sales representatives to drive new business and expand current customer engagement. Daily activities will include account planning, prospect identification, opportunity generation, sales calls, and contract negotiation.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Sales Development Representatives to close deals they set for the SMB segment
  • Hunter mentality for outbound lead sourcing and pipeline development
  • Provide excellent customer service for transactional accounts and identify strategic opportunities
  • Work with Sales and Customer Success to develop and circulate best practices that will become the foundation of this team
  • Create and share reliable forecasts with management on your pipeline status
  • Develop and maintain expert knowledge on the features, benefits and application of Lucidchart’s offering
  • Seek out opportunities to be a leader and do everything you can to help the company achieve its larger objectives

Requirements

  • Must be able to work in the Australian HQ in Melbourne, Australia
  • 1 year Sales closing Experience
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM
  • Ability to manage a large number of prospects and opportunities simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree
  • Experience with software sales (SaaS desired)
  • Experience with sales tools such as Outreach and Discover.org
  • Knowledge of software contract terms and conditions and strong negotiation skills
  • Hungry, humble and driven, desire to further their sales career
