Customer Success Manager, EDU

The EDU Customer Success Manager fills a mission-critical role at Lucid Software, driving awareness and adoption of Lucidchart and Lucidpress within the EDU space, developing the future professional Lucidchart and Lucidpress user base. This new role will require an entrepreneurial spirit, diverse skillset and a strong interest in building our Education program from the ground up. For the right candidate, this is a career-defining opportunity with a chance to have a significant impact. The role is part of our Customer Success team and is based at Lucid Software corporate headquarters in South Jordan, UT.

Responsibilities

  • Develop implementation and adoption strategies specific to Lucidchart and Lucidpress roll-out to diverse K-12 and Higher-Ed customers
  • Develop and manage relationships with K-12 and Higher-Ed administrators, professors, and teachers, to support successful implementation and adoption of Lucidchart and Lucidpress
  • Train educators on Lucidchart and Lucidpress use cases and functionality
  • Identify opportunities to incorporate Lucidchart and Lucidpress  into course curricula throughout departments
  • Develop Lucidchart and Lucidpress templates and lesson plans incorporating Lucidchart and Lucidpress into curriculatemplates responsive to educators’ needs to increase ease of adoption
  • Design and conduct school/district-wide outreach and product awareness campaigns 
  • Serve as the Lucidchart and Lucidpress subject matter expert for educators providing guidance and addressing challenges
  • Work closely with the Sales and Product teams to incorporate customer insights sales strategies and product roadmap

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with strong academic performance, preferably in a business, technology or education-related field of study
  • 3+ years of experience, preferably in a customer-facing capacity such as account management, technical sales, consulting or training
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to create and deliver technical presentations that explain complex subjects to non-technical end users
  • Outstanding task management skills across a varied set of responsibilities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical aptitude and passion to become a subject matter expert on Lucidchart and Lucidpress and their many use cases
  • Strong focus on details, organization, and teamwork
  • Bias towards finding solutions vs. shutting down ideas
