Sr. Director of Talent Acquisition

Location: Greater Salt Lake City, Utah

Responsibilities

  • Lead the global Talent Acquisition (TA) function including the design and execution of TA strategy for Lucid as it scales
  • Ensure appropriate TA organizational structure to address hiring demands; including appropriate systems and tools to source world class talent
  • Attract, engage and retain high-performing recruiting talent
  • Identify, baseline and monitor key TA metrics
  • Partner closely with business stakeholders and hiring managers to understand current and future hiring needs
  • Leverage and improve existing TA initiatives such as university relations/campus and intern hiring, employee referrals, D&I initiatives, etc
  • Strengthen existing and identify new sources of hires, which includes significantly advancing our proactive external market outreach for first class talent
  • Identify the most effective digital/social media channels to drive increased candidate traffic, through content, strategic placement of online recruiting banners and mobile platform optimization (e.g., role advertising and job applications)
  • Guide recruiters to build, develop and manage a network/database of key competition talent in line with business needs
  • Ensure global consistency in candidate experience and hiring process as the business expands
  • Ensure integration with other key areas of talent management and the business

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10+ years experience in talent acquisition
  • Proven track record of building and executing TA strategies that drives actionable results
  • Strong management skills including the ability to effectively consult, negotiate and influence change
  • Demonstrate experience in building high-performing teams, effective partnerships and collaborative stakeholder relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to set and balance short and long-term priorities and remain focused with a rigorous, fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Have an inclusive mindset and collaborative leadership
  • Must possess outstanding collaboration skills, with proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders across departments to accomplish goals
  • Must attract great talent and build effective teams
  • Must demonstrate exceptional communication skills

  • Experience running global TA operations
