Manager, K-12 Sales

Location: Greater Salt Lake City, Utah

Lucid for Education is looking for a Manager of the K-12 Sales Team to join us at our headquarters in South Jordan, Utah. Lucid for Education is the new way of learning, combining Lucidchart and Lucidpress to facilitate collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity in the classroom. Our platform helps schools and districts facilitate best practices and enables them to roll out new learning initiatives with ease.
As Manager of the K-12 Sales team, you will be responsible for leading a team of 7-10 Regional Sales Managers in specific geography that drive the growth of the Lucid for Education platform. This position will be a member of the Lucid for Education leadership team and will work together with them as they continue to build and scale the Lucid for Education business. This role will report directly to the General Manager of Lucid for Education.

Responsibilities

  • Coaching, mentoring, and leading a team of Regional Sales Managers
  • Assist in the recruiting and training of a growing sales org
  • Attain K12 Team Sales revenue targets
  • Develop and execute on quarterly account plans with reps
  • Inspire, lead and coach a dynamic fast-scaling sales team
  • Coach and provide feedback to Regional Sales Managers in the areas of sales/personal development, direction and focus
  • Conduct quarterly business review sessions with each sales rep
  • Manage productivity, funnel of opportunities and quality to ensure teams meet established goals and standards
  • Provide ongoing process improvements, recommendations and implementation of these
  • Assist in managing programs to achieve target goals for team and individual representatives
  • Develop and maintain expert knowledge on the features, benefits and application of the Lucid for Education platform
  • Understand the K-12 Industry and competitive landscape

Requirements

  • 4-5 years of experience in the K-12 industry
  • 2-3 years of experience successfully leading a K-12 Sales team
  • Experience as an effective coach and leader
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling software used in the classroom
  • Strong technical background
  • Understanding of top learning initiatives and strategies
