CS Strategy and Operations Analyst

Location: Greater Salt Lake City, Utah


  • Revenue retention: Define and improve revenue retention strategy and create processes, metrics, and systems to execute it
  • Forecasting: Assist with quarterly and annual revenue retention forecasting and strategic planning
  • CS Strategy: Partner with customer success and sales leadership to define high-level strategic objectives and go-to-market strategy and build related plans
  • Reporting: Created dashboards and ad-hoc reports to find areas of inefficiency or untapped opportunities across the customer success organization and Lucid in general
  • Cross-functional coordination: Work cross-functionally with product, support, engineering, marketing, and other departments to drive operational efficiency and strategic alignment
  • Process building: Build and execute processes for determining which accounts/companies customer success managers should focus on
  • Performance auditing: Perform analysis on customer success performance and provide strategic insights on how the customer success organization should improve its go-to-market strategy, organizational structure, operations, etc.


  • Motivated: Independent, highly motivated, and has the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • Data-driven: Detail-oriented with a strong bias for using data and statistics to inform decisions
  • Experienced: 2+ years of relevant experience in Business Analyst, Customer Success Operations, Sales Operations, Marketing Operations or similar functions
  • Innovative: Demonstrated ability to be resourceful and innovative
  • Dynamic: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Relationship builder: Experience building rapport with team members and a curious mindset to continuously learn about the challenges customer success teams face in the marketplace
  • Communicator: Effective written and verbal communication skills to make compelling, data-driven, recommendations for change
  • Problem-solver: Highly effective problem solving skills, a bias towards finding solutions vs. shutting down ideas

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, business or information systems focus
  • Prior experience working in an operations role
  • Experience managing a team
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Tableau
  • Proficiency with MySQL
  • Experience using, business intelligence software, and marketing automation software
